Q3ADE Release 5.07c1 is available
Copenhagen, October 18, 2005.
Q3ADE Release 5.07c1 is now available to customers of Q3ADE developer
packages.
The Q3ADE R.5.07c1 comes with a significant set of new features
and improvements compared to the R. 5.07c0, specifically in relation
to security management.
These security improvements have been developed as a response to
several customers requesting a secure multi-node Q3ADE 3G architecture
with end-to-end privacy and with a centralized domain user/group
management service. Some notable improvements are:
- Secure communication via Q3/CMIP, CORBA/IIOP and HTTP using
SSL.
- End-to-end privacy and authentication level control
- Multi-layered security domain architecture
These improvements enable customers to configure a distributed
multi-node Q3ADE 3G system with centralized multi-layered security
domain management, where the privacy of all communication between
Q3ADE 3G nodes is guaranteed. Users may log into any node in the
network and access any other node in the network according to their
security profile. A feature that further increases the scalability
of Q3ADE based solutions.
The Release 5.07c1 also provides extensions of the Q3ADE development
language LMIF, a script language comparable to industry standard
languages like JavaScript and Perl, Extensions to the language include
math functions, DES en/decryption functions, direct manipulation
of XML structures and improved JIT-precompilation.
Read also the announcement of the Q3ADE 3G R 5.08c0 release plans,
which will include auto-discovery of IP network equipment an applications
and the CLIGW, a new component providing support for remote monitoring
via telnet, rlogin and SSH, and much more..
