UMTS/3GPP OSS Integration

New telecom services based on UMTS/3G will require an unprecedented integration of business applications and Telecom OSS.

The current trend in this context is to base this integration on CORBA. But the new UMTS/3G systems will still have to be integrated and interoperate with existing technologies like GSM and ATM.

Q3ADE 3G offers a range of functions to mediate information between UMTS/3G and legacy technologies via CORBA or CMIP based interfaces and all the other interfaces supported by Q3ADE.

This includes an advanced mediator between 3GPP ETSI 32.301-3 and X.735 based event logging. This feature allows you to either act as a 3GPP alarm server or access a 3GPP alarm server to pick up alarms and forward as X.733 notifications.
