Imagine that you can set up a script that will issue an SMS to a specific person in case a specific alarm situation arises. The E-mail Gateway provides:

• E-mail Server. Receives E-mails via SMTP and invokes a script or issues an internal event

• Script accessible E-mail client function. Issue an e-mail/SMS from any script.

• E-mail filters. Limit accessibility for security reasons

By combining the E-mail Gateway with the Q3ADE Core event logging, storing and forwarding functions, you have a genuine message based store/forward engine with remote logging and multicasting.
